A Cold Winter’s Night
And what can we do, when we are left out in the cold? The answers are numerous. There are those of us who would shutter up the windows, curl up in a chair with a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate with a fire blazing. Others that would seek the adventure it can hold, bundled up and ready to embrace that winter can hold its own against even the best of us. We may hide in fear of what lurks within the woods and underneath the sheets of white, of who comes knocking upon the door as the snow falls. And some, tired and sullen, will choose to greet the cold of a winter night as an old friend; in moments quick and passing. The cold is a fickle thing that we could not hope to predict – nor would we ever wish to.
Our second issue at Forget-Me-Not Press contains the work of thirty-one artists and writers – all of whom are hoping to keep you company: on this, a cold winter’s night.
