Jean Ayotte studied photography at college and literature at university. Associate in a studio, has a career as a graphic designer and object designer. Still makes pictures.

His artistic approach is currently made of long exposures, of crepuscular or nocturnal lighting, of painted light, of movement, perceivable or condensed in a paradoxical stillness
