In the Dark is where we begin, where we are born, where we live, where we die, where we end, where we begin again. A great portion of the ecstasy, pain, simpleness, tranquility, fear, love, loss, and happiness of our lives occurs under the cover of darkness; to exist under the sheet of the night sky or locked away in a room where we are scrambling to find the light.
While there are those who find that monsters lurk inside darkness' crevices, trapped amongst the creaks and groans of fearful mongering, there are others who find that darkness is a loving embrace from familiar hands. In the Dark is where we search, to find the answers to questions only darkness can know.
It is darkness' domain that we explore here, with the works of thirty-one artists and writers who make up this fourth issue here at Forget-Me-Not Press.
Leave the light behind, let them guide you on this, your journey, in the dark.
