“My mission as a writer and director is to make feeling possible where it was previously impossible. I am motivated by a restless desire that seeks out connections through the collaborative medium of film to create stories and images that are impossible to forget and that produce the space for an audience to think their own thoughts and explore their own emotional capacity. I am heavily influenced by the work of Deleuze as a writer and artist.”

Dan Horrigan

As an artist I've seen life from a range of perspectives - which are always shifting - and I have a snakes and ladders existence which has been my great joy to experience. I'm also a father, guardian to two children and a partner. Together, she and I have collaborated on award-winning work. In independent film, I have screened at over 120 festivals globally. Recently, I appeared at the Ruthin Arts Festival. Last year I screened at The British Museum and The Curzon Soho and my work in theatre was produced in Quebec. Next up is The Odeon with Worcester Film Festival. I have been making theatre since 2001 and film since 2015. There's no organising principle, just restless desire. My work in direction and writing defies easy categorisation. However, I enjoy a style and a voice which is not mainstream and not polite.
