I gained my first class honours Fine Art degree in my mid fifties and over the last 9 years have built up my personal style within a full time studio practice. Art has helped me to navigate personal demons to reach a positive creative outcome. I feel older women are under-represented in art and often overlooked ! I would describe the Haunting I have experienced as a dark feeling of isolation whilst trying to accept ageing and flashback images of my younger carefree self. I'm a spiritual rather than religious person who actually believes that we are all watched over by kindly forces in this life.
